ACCOUNTING & OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Job Description

Hey there! We’re Driven Coffee Roasters, a craft coffee roaster based out of Chanhassen, MN. Our vision is to be the best relationship-focused coffee company in the world. Every cup we roast, every conversation we have, and every partnership we build is fueled by that purpose. Summary: This role is the backbone of our day-to-day operations, managing accounting, payroll, and administrative functions that keep the business moving forward. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives on structure, values getting things right, and enjoys being a consistent, in-person resource for the team.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain financial records in Odoo; support reconciliations and month-end close documentation
  • Accounts Payable / Receivable: Coordinate with vendors to process payments, issue invoices, and manage collections
  • Payroll & Compliance: Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable requirements
  • Operational & Administrative: Oversee office operations; support onboarding and maintain documentation

Skills: 

  • Resilience: Handles challenges with a positive outlook
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage daily schedule management and ability to stay focused
  • Technology: Proficiency with invoicing systems; ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Collaboration: Adaptable to change and creatively problem solve

Qualifications: 

Required

  • 3+ years experience
  • Payroll/AP/AR experience
  • Bookkeeping experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • ERP/Odoo experience

Work Environment and Schedule: 

  • Full time in person at our headquarters in Chanhassen, MN
  • Standard business hours are 8 – 4:30 Monday through Friday
  • Reports to: Founder | CEO

Growth Opportunities: 

Opportunities to grow into Accounting Manager, Operations Manager, or Finance & Operations Lead roles.

  • Total Compensation Range: $45,000–$60,000 annually (DOE)
